Are all properties lakefront?

Yes

What are the steps to purchasing a lot and building a home?
Sand Point Lake and Island Lake:
We are only selling spec homes that are completed or that we are in the process of building.  You can buy them before completion, so you are able to personalize your homes.
 
Stone Gate Lake:
  2. Sit down and go over the plans with our builder.
  3. Decide on upgrades, colors, cabinets, flooring, countertops, etc
  4. Start the build.
  5. The build is done in two phases. All prices are set.:
  • Phase 1–Foundation and shell through us directly.
  • Phase 2–Finish and subcontractor work through a builder we work with.  Prices shown include both shell and finish before your choices in upgrades.

Can we make changes to the floor plans?
Yes, you can make changes. However, you cannot modify the footprint of the home or any load bearing walls.

What are common changes people make to the floor plans?
3rd stall garage (2 stall is standard), larger deck (16’x8′ is standard at Sand Point Lake.  20’x10′ is standard at Island Lake), deck stairs, additional landscaping, screen porch, etc

What’s not included with the houses?
Appliances, closet shelving, and window treatments. You work with your builder and customize these items.

What utilities are available?
Sanitary Sewer, individual well, natural gas, electricity, telephone, high-speed internet, cable TV.

Are the roads paved?
Yes

How much are Homeowner’s dues? (estimates for 2027) 
Sand Point Lake–$650 per YEAR
Stone Gate Lake and WaterStone–$650 per YEAR
VRBO/AirBNB Beach Lake/Sunset Lake–$650 for vacant lots. $2300 for homes per YEAR
Island Lake/Copper Point–$650 per YEAR

Do I have access to Castle Rock Lake? 
Some properties come with access to a private slip on Castle Rock Lake. All properties can access Castle Rock Lake through a number of boat launches nearby.  The developer also has marinas where owners can lease seasonal slips.

Are fireplaces allowed? 
Yes

Are UTVs/ATVs allowed on public roads? 
Yes

How big is Castle Rock Lake? 
Castle Rock Lake is the 4th biggest lake in Wisconsin. It is 17,000 acres.

What restaurants and bars are nearby? 
Lakefront Restaurants: Shipwreck Bay, Portofino Bay, The Dirty Turtle, Pine Cove, and Northern Bay are all within a couple of minutes by car or boat. Carlson’s Rustic Ridge and Crazy Taco Mexican Restaurant (formerly Splash) are 15 minutes away by boat.
Buckhorn Grill, Woodbine, Tourist Trap Cafe, Bohica’s, Oscar’s, and Kozy’s are minutes away by car.

Are there golf courses nearby?
Yes. There are a number of courses nearby.

  • Northern Bay golf course is located ON Castle Rock Lake
  • Castle Rock course is a short 5-minute drive.
  • Sand Valley is a short drive north of Castle Rock Lake. It is ranked as a top golf course.

Do you allow short-term rentals?
